Mr Michael Issac
General Surgeon
MBBS, FRACS

Mr Michael Issac is a General Surgeon with extensive experience in Breast and Endocrine Surgery and is available to see patients at his Private Consulting Suites in Bundoora.

Mr Issac completed his MBBS at the University of Melbourne in 1999 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in early 2008. From 2008 to 2011, he undertook post-fellowship training in NSW, VIC and QLD in the areas of Breast, Endocrine, Head & Neck, Colorectal, advanced laparoscopic surgery and endoscopy. Mr Issac has also worked as a consultant surgeon at Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals in NSW in 2009-2010. He is currently appointed as a VMO at St Vincent???s Public Hospital.

Mr Issac has completed broad general surgical training including at a post- fellowship level. His main area of interest is BREAST & ENDOCRINE surgery. He has recently trained in minimally invasive endocrine surgery including the exciting new area of Endoscopic Trans-Axillary Thyroid surgery. Mr Issac is one of only four Surgeons in Australia who have trained in this area.

Mr Issac aims to provide a prompt surgical service to all patients. He is available for urgent enquiries and will see any patients of concern as soon as possible.
