Dr Al-Salihi obtained his primary degree in Medicine and Surgery overseas and gained extensive experience in Medicine and Surgery working in different parts of the world.
After completing his General Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in New Zealand and Australia, Dr Al-Salihi received formal training in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the Royal Women???s Hospital Melbourne. He completed his sub-specialty training at the end of 2011 gaining a certificate in UroGynaecology, a sub-specialty in women???s urinary incontinence and pelvic organ Prolapse.
Currently, Dr Al-Salihi works as a consultant at the Urogynaecology department at the Royal Women???s Hospital Melbourne in Parkville.
Dr Al-Salihi offers services in Urogynaecology and Urodynamic testing for patients with Pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. He has a special interest in laparoscopic and minimal access surgery in pelvic reconstruction surgery and Urogynaecology.
His private obstetric practice offers Antenatal care, Ultrasound and deliveries at both Frances Perry House private hospital on Flemington Road, Parkville.
Dr Al-Salihi is extensively involved in clinical research and innovative developments in the field. He presents his papers regularly at both national and international conventions. He is also committed to the junior trainees clinical and surgical training.
